WHY HAS NOT BEEN WORKED ACCORDING TO CITY GENERAL URBAN PLAN?

 The residents of Crvena Zvezda settlement in Palilula Municipality, that is circled by Gabrovacki put and Dusana Popovica streets, every day are more decisive in their demands to local authorities to finally solve problem of many decades - not controlled waste removal, formation of wild landfills and keeping domestic animals as well as the residential issue in this wild settlement. It was reported in the petition directed to Municipal authorities of Palilula as well as during the recent meeting with president Dzunic and representatives of Public Enterprise Mediana in Nis. Over the last past year, for the fact that Building Inspection of the City of Nis has not reacted in accordance with its own authorizations, illegal outhousing has been completed of the objects in so called wild settlement Crvena Zvezda.

 The pupils of `Branko Radicevic` elementary school in Gabrovac village - Palilula, two weeks in row have been learning in cold classrooms dressed in jackets with winter scarves and caps. This school was left without heating and after they addressed to all authorized institutions, Palilula Municipality joined to help. Boban Dzunic, president of Palilula Municipality, promised the donation of fuel oil already that very day, since the health of children is priority.`I got the invitation from the parents of this pupils and headmaster from Gabrovac school Glorija Radojcic to visit the school and see myself the state of the work of this school. I was said that authorized institutions had not been able to help.

DRINKING WATER IN THE HEIGHT ZONES

 Hygienically healthy drinking water is one of the basic pre-conditions of people good health. WHO put the water - supplying and water quality into 12 basic markers of health status of citizens of one country and Palilula Municipality in Nis with many activities on the improvement of life quality of citizens determines its own strategic features and role in the protection of health of every individual. Water supply is one of the basic problems in rural and suburbia parts of Palilula, said Boban Dzunic, president of this Municipality. That is why with Krusce villagers we are today in action of making capable the using of water system that will be used by over two hundred of citizens of this settlement who, for the height zones, were not in possibility to use the existing one net.

BATUSINACKE BARE – THE PONDS OF BATUSINAC – WORLD WATER DAY 2013

 On the occasion of the celebration of World Water Day – March 22 2013, president of Palilula Municipality Boban Dzunic with his associates, visited the part around old river bed of Juzna Morava river. This complex of still waters known as Batusinacke bare is situated in the immediate nearness of motorway E 75, some ten kilometers from Nis and comprises part of Palilula Municipal territory. Bara (the ponds) is favourite place for fishermen from Nis and surrounding. Batusinacke Bare first appeared as the result of the construction of the motorway E 75 and digging of new riverbed of Juzna Morava with which many of them are connected in sub- terrain area. This year theme of celebration of World water day is attracting attention to international and home public to the cooperation factor.

HELP FOR THREE YEAR OLD DOROTEA AND HER FAMILY MITIC IN MRAMOR VILLAGE

 Marko Mitic is a single parent of two minor children three year old Dorotea and Veljko, ten months. Neither he nor his brothers work anywhere. If it was not for social security, little Dorotea would not be in position to be treated of serious heart problems that she has from her birth. She has the first surgery on heart when she was only 17 days, second two years ago. For the end of March catheterisation was appointed which is actually the preparation for the third surgery. Neighbors of these people addressed and appealed for help to people from Palilula Municipality and found understanding. President of the Municipality, on this occasion, promised the help not only considering the expenses with surgery.

WITCHES BANISHED – DAY OF FORGIVING AND HAPPINESS

 Traditional manifestation `Businessman of the Year` took place in Nis City Hall. The 14th award ceremony for the most successful traders and businessmen in the Region was organized by the Council of associations of traders and clusters of South - east Serbia as respectable representative of the Sector of small and medium enterprises in Serbian south east. President of Palilula Municipality, Boban Dzunic, was also present at the award ceremony. Palilula Municipality was the first in the Region to adopt the Strategy of development of small and medium enterprises and entrepreneurship in Municipality 2009-2013.

 After the text published in `Blic` daily newspaper – Budget inspection in Palilula Municipality of Nis (Ivana Andjelkovic, Saturday March 6 2013), we wish to point to untrue claims that were given in this newspaper article and that made harm to Palilula Municipality and personal reputation of Boban Dzunic. In the alleged statement of high authority of the City of Nis, quoted by journalist of this newspaper, which so far has not been denied, so we do not know if it is authentic, it is stated that Budget inspection of the City objected to the mode of communication with Municipal officials because they had not allowed the inspector to access the requested information.

In NKC and in the presence of female councilors of Palilula Municipality, he emphasized the role of women in society and said that Palilula Municipality would specially improve the activities in the sphere of gender equality.  Palilula Municipality, in the end of the last year, strengthened communal supervision in all Municipal settlements aiming at the improvement of life quality of its citizens. Acting on and after complaints and demands of the citizens from Crvena Zvezda settlement, night shifts of communal inspectors and associates were introduced. It has been established that in spite of many warnings and discussions of the president of Municipality with the residents of wild settlement made by Roma population, waste in the streets and pavements of `Dusana Popovica` boulevard with formation of wild landfill has not been ceased.
